Soul II Soul - Feeling Free

I thought I'd start this blog with some music.

Music has played such an important role in my life. It has the power to heal and explain notions that I cannot. Music doesn't even need words in order to describe feelings and the interpretation belongs to the beholder alone. What an incredible medium!
Whether it's a simple drum rhythm that calls to the most primal part of us or a complicated symphonic piece, it's a communication. It says "come and listen to what I have to share with you" whilst sending you into intimate connection with the musician. You may or may not have known the artist prior to hearing their creation. You know them now, at least a little.
That leads me to saying the message we convey to others (and ourselves) is important. Unfortunately, I have to get going but will dive deeper into that subject later.
